Location: Montana
Shifts and Contract Length: 12 hour shifts, nights, 7-7 or 12-12. 3x12 wk 1, 4x12 wk 2 schedule. 3 month minimum, 6 months preferred
Pay Package: $2,800-3,000/week including travel per diem; Option for 401k or Health Plan enrollment
Currently looking for experienced Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill contract openings in a government healthcare facility located in Browning, Montana. Interested candidates should have 1-year work experience in Emergency Room setting.
Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Collect current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
- Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol.
- Record patients’ current vital signs.
- Obtain specimens for lab tests.
- Provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations.
Requirements of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in any of the 50 states
- 1-year work experience required in Emergency Room setting
- Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
- Willingness to undergo a background check
