Wesley Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Ft. Peck Tribal Health in Poplar, Montana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. This role requires a strong understanding of pharmacology, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care within a tribal health setting.
Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Provide medication counseling to patients, including dosage, side effects, and proper administration.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control and quality assurance.
Stay informed about new drugs, therapies, and pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications:
Completion of accredited pharmacy program; PharmD preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
Current state Pharmacist license.
BLS certification required.
Must have completed a supervised internship.
Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
Willingness to undergo a background check
