Wesley Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Ft. Peck Tribal Health in Poplar, Montana. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent patient service within a tribal health setting. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
Answer patient questions and provide basic medication information under pharmacist supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions.
Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Current state Pharmacy Technician license or certification, if required by state.
BLS certification preferred.
Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
