Currently looking for an experienced Dentist to fill an immediate contract opening at a Tribal Health Department in Wolf Point, Montana. Interested candidates should have minimum of 1+ year work experience as a Dentist.
Responsibilities of the Travel Dentist:
- Fixing or removing damaged teeth
- Filling cavities
- Performing exams and evaluating x-rays to determine a patient’s health
- Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues
- Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health
- Interacting with patients and instruct them on proper oral care
- Measuring and fitting dental appliances
- Referring patients to a specialist if needed
- Manage dental hygienists and assistants
Requirements of the Travel Dentist:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program
- State license to practice dentistry
- 1+ years of Dental experience
- Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
- Willingness to undergo a background check
