Location: Montana
Shifts:12-hour shifts, various shifts (nights, days, mids), 7-7 or 12-12. 3x12-hour shifts week 1, 4x12-hour shifts week 2 schedule.
Contract Length: 9-month assignment (January 1st through September 30th, 2026)
Pay Package: $2,800-3,200/week including weekly stipend for travelers DOE; Option for 401k or Health Plan enrollment
Currently looking for an experienced Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a contract opening in government healthcare facility located in Harlem, Montana. Interested candidates should have 1-year work experience in Emergency Room setting.
Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Collect current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
- Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol.
- Record patients’ current vital signs.
- Obtain specimens for lab tests.
- Provide intervention in emergency, life-threatening situations.
Requirements of the Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in any of the 50 states
- 3 years recent ER nursing experience preferred, 1 year required
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
- Willingness to undergo a background check
