Currently looking for experienced Chief Medical Officer to fill immediate contract opening at a Tribal Health Department in Poplar and Wolf Point, Montana. Interested candidates should have at least 1 year of CMO experience in a clinic setting.
Responsibilities of the Chief Medical Officer:
- Must possess a broad spectrum of clinical and administrative knowledge which provides the ability to manage a large Primary Care program, specifically with regard to patients, staff, and customer satisfaction, quality of clinical services provided, and efficiency of service delivery.
- Coordinates the clinical care of all patients within the clinic, while working in collaboration with Primary Care, Women's Health, ER/Urgent Care and Surgical and Medical Sub-Specialty Services.
- Facilitates communication among patients and their families along with outside primary care physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialists.
- Responsible for oversight and coordination of process improvement initiatives, assuring teamwork and addressing customer service and service recovery issues in the clinic.
Requirements of the Chief Medical Officer
- Physician license
- BLS required, ACLS/PALS preferred
- 1-year experience
- 1-year of recent CMO work experience
- Willingness to undergo a background check
