Shift: M-F 8-4:30 clinic, weekends may occasionally be required.
Currently looking for an experienced Optometrist to fill a contract opening at a Tribal Health Department in Poplar, Montana. Interested candidates should have 1-year work experience.
Responsibilities of the Travel Optometrist
- Resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience
- Perform the following type of work and/or tasks: examine, diagnoses, treat disease and disorder of the visual system; treat all age groups from infancy to geriatric; coordinate and confer patient medical eye care with other medical professionals; provide in-service and/or training to optometric staff, students, and other allied health care; experience performing administrative tasks of supervision and fiscal responsibilities.
Requirements of the Travel Optometrist
- State licensure to practice
- 1 years of practical experience in a clinic or hospital
- Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
- Willingness to undergo a background check
