Location: Crow Agency, MT
Shifts and Contract Lengths:
- short term coverage 3/4/26-3/20/36; 4/26/26-5/3/26
Pay Package: $2,700-2,900/week including travel per diem;
Currently looking for experienced Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill a contract opening at Crow Service Unit, a government healthcare facility located in Crow Agency, MT. Interested candidate should have a minimum of 1 year working in a med-surg setting. Pediatric experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities of the Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
- Collects current symptoms, as well as detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
- Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol.
- Monitors and records patients’ symptoms or behavior.
- Communicates with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
- Maintains accurate patient medical records
Requirements of the Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in any of the 50 states
- 1-year work experience required in a Medical Surgical setting
- Pediatric experience highly preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Willingness to travel to a remote healthcare facility
- Willingness to undergo a background check
