Shift: M-F 8-4:30 clinic, weekends may occasionally be required. Flexible scheduling may become available.
Currently looking for experienced dental assistants to fill immediate contract openings at a Tribal Health Department in Poplar, Montana. Interested candidates should have 1-year work experience as a dental assistant.
Responsibilities of the Travel Dental Assistant
- Help administer patient care during dental cleanings and oral surgery
- Educate patients about procedures and dental maintenance and give instructions for oral care
- Order x-rays and other scans
- Prepare rooms for treatments and procedures
- Records proper treatment notes on patient record
- Administrative duties
Requirements of the Travel Dental Assistant
- Graduate of accredited dental assisting program
- 1+ years of Dental Assistant experience required
- X-ray certification
- Willingness to travel to remote healthcare facilities
- Willingness to undergo a background check
